The foundation aims to support children or adolescents (or, in exceptional cases, adults) suffering from cerebral palsy, generally through support of all kinds and forms, such as (non-exhaustively): contributions to the costs of raising awareness and providing advice about cerebral palsy, as well as access to scientific information of all kinds, and mediation and financial support for specialists and care services; support for people with cerebral palsy in hardship cases and in cases of need with contributions to the costs of raising awareness, providing advice, and treatment (including doctors' or hospital fees or nursing costs), the costs of aids, devices, and facilities, as well as mediation of specialists and care services; the production and dissemination of information to interested parties about cerebral palsy and, in particular, about cerebral palsy in children (leaflets, brochures, videos, websites, etc.); the promotion and financing of medical research and developments in the field of cerebral palsy and, in particular, in the field of cerebral palsy in children (general financing of medical equipment, instruments, implants, etc.); the organization and support of events and projects to improve the quality of treatment for cerebral palsy (e.g., scientific symposia, scientific publications, medical databases and registers, etc.). The support can refer to both individuals and institutions. It can include both one-off contributions and recurring support, for example, as part of longer-term programs. With the support of the foundation, improved infrastructural (material and personnel) conditions should also be created in all the areas mentioned, processes improved, and new approaches to solutions for existing deficiencies created. The foundation can employ personnel, acquire properties and other assets, and carry out all activities that are suitable for achieving the foundation's purpose. The foundation does not pursue commercial purposes and does not aim to make a profit. The foundation is active throughout Switzerland and internationally.
