Stiftung Sunneschyn Meiringen

The foundation aims to establish and operate training, residential and employment facilities to promote the preservation of physical and mental independence of children, adolescents and adults with cognitive or multiple disabilities. It is primarily intended for people with disabilities living in the canton of Bern or holding citizenship, regardless of social status and denomination. In particular, the foundation operates the Sunneschyn Meiringen institution for people with cognitive and physical disabilities, including a school, workshops and residential facilities, in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Act on Disability Insurance and cantonal social welfare legislation. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
