Stiftung Tierhospiz Arbensäge

The foundation aims to advocate for the interests of disadvantaged animals. This task involves providing a home and care for animals on the Arbensäge foundation farm (municipality of Sarnen) that have special needs due to blindness, disabilities or old age, or animals that are in an environment where they can no longer stay for emergency reasons. It enables the animals to have a home on the Arbensäge foundation farm beyond human claims of use. No animals are rehomed or sold. Each animal taken in is entitled to lifelong care and housing on the Arbensäge foundation farm. Animals born on the foundation farm remain there for life. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
