Promotion of special joint tasks of the Swiss social health insurance, including: promotion of health and accident insurance; granting contributions to the establishment, expansion and operation of institutions and hospitals closely related to health insurers, as well as benefits for the treatment of particularly expensive diseases and accidents or their consequences; granting contributions for the acquisition of special medical equipment and devices; granting contributions to joint expenses of health insurance funds for training, information and advertising.
