The foundation aims to promote vocational training in the Engadine and adjacent valleys. The foundation's activities to achieve this purpose are based on the conviction that the permeable dual vocational training system in Switzerland is equivalent to academic education and that the training of skilled workers in the Engadine and adjacent valleys should be promoted. For the purpose of maintaining and further developing economic performance, the foundation promotes the dual vocational training system in the Engadine and adjacent valleys. To this end, the foundation specifically supports measures that awaken and promote interest in vocational training; the exchange of information on apprenticeships and training professions; information on further training opportunities and the chances of the permeable, dual education system; measures to support industries and training companies to promote vocational training; and professional coaching of those involved in vocational training. The measures to achieve the purpose should be designed as broadly as possible, so that the widest possible impact is achieved. To achieve its purpose, the foundation can work in partnership with institutions of public and private law. The foundation has a non-profit character. The foundation refrains from political activity.
