The association aims to preserve and promote the common professional interests of entrepreneurs in the building technology, roofing, sanitary installation, heating, ventilation and air conditioning industries, as well as the corresponding planning firms and other related industries in the section's territory. The association has the following specific tasks: actively shaping and working on general vocational training issues, including apprentice training; procuring and providing the infrastructure for education and training in cooperation with cantonal and federal authorities; promoting the knowledge of members in business management and technical areas to remain competitive in the modern market; ensuring quality assurance in line with the price-performance ratio and enhancing the reputation of the profession in the entire house and building technology industry; jointly clarifying fundamental questions that affect the relationship between members and clients, architects, and suppliers, as well as the resulting consequences and measures within the framework of suissetec (the central association) agreements; creating framework conditions that regulate the employment relationship between employers and employees and enforcing them.
