The company's purpose is:
a) To acquire, hold, manage, and finance mortgage credit claims (including bonds and other securities pledged to secure mortgage claims, ancillary claims of such mortgage credit claims, and other related claims) within the framework of securitization and similar refinancing transactions, as well as to finance the acquisition, holding, and management of bonds or to take out loans and enter into derivative transactions to hedge against currency risks, to pledge securities over the acquired mortgage credit claims for the purpose of securing the claims of investors in bonds or lenders, and to mandate service providers to administratively manage and realize mortgages and other assets and to provide other services useful in connection with securitization or similar refinancing transactions. The company may bridge liquidity fluctuations, particularly in connection with the hedging of currency risks, by investing surplus liquidity in term deposits and raising funds through credit financing, as well as outsourcing liquidity management and the management of hedging currency risks to external service providers.
b) To fulfill obligations arising from contracts entered into in connection with transactions under (a) and to conclude such contracts (the transaction documents).
c) The company may not engage in commercial, financial, and other activities that do not directly or indirectly serve the company's purpose. The company may not sell or further transfer mortgage credit claims (or bonds and other securities pledged to secure mortgage claims, ancillary claims of such mortgage credit claims, and other related claims) entrusted to it, unless this is provided for in the transaction documents. It is further prohibited from acquiring or holding real estate, unless the company acquires it through the realization of acquired pledges. It may not participate in any companies. It may not pledge securities to third parties nor grant guarantees, bonds, and the like in favor of third parties, unless this is provided for in the transaction documents.
d) The company is not obliged to pursue a profit-oriented purpose.
