The purpose of the Swiss Remote Work Association is to promote and support the development of the remote work sector in Switzerland, particularly in companies and organizations, as a professional association with international and Swiss expertise. The association aims to improve adaptations in areas such as collaboration, leadership, personal responsibility, health aspects, work processes, and laws such as labor and social security law, tax law, and visa regulations for digital nomads/remote workers or other areas related to remote work. Further purposes of the association include supporting executives in leading remote teams, promoting the personal responsibility and self-organization of remote workers, improving the health and well-being of remote workers, supporting companies in adapting work processes and complying with laws and regulations related to remote work, as well as promoting cooperation with universities and other research institutions to further develop remote working.
