The association aims to promote sailing sports by organizing the Swiss Sailing National Leagues (Mixed and Women) and other national and international sailing events in the Umpired Fleet Racing format. The association is a union of Swiss sailing clubs participating in the Swiss Sailing National Leagues. The winner of the Swiss Sailing Super League is the Swiss champion of sailing clubs. The winners of the Swiss Sailing Women's League are the women's sailing club Swiss champions. The best Swiss clubs from the Super League (Open and Women Series) participate in the SAILING Champions League and Eurosaf Club Sailing European Championship, provided they meet their qualification criteria. The same applies to the best Swiss clubs from the Swiss Sailing League Youth Cup, which participate in ISLA's (International Sailing League Association) SAILING Champions League and Eurosaf Club Sailing European Championships, provided they meet their qualification criteria. Organization of club team racing regattas (so-called 2K «2 Keel Boats») in Switzerland and abroad, in the Umpired (Club) Team Racing format.
