The Association aims to promote diversity and inclusion in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in Switzerland, particularly by: Supporting the development of STEM skills for members from underrepresented backgrounds. Implementing hybrid pre-apprenticeship programs (virtual and in-person) in collaboration with employers to facilitate access to STEM professions and promote diversity and inclusion. Conducting research on barriers to diversity and inclusion in STEM professions in Switzerland. Offering training programs, internships, mentorship, and sponsorship opportunities tailored to the needs of members. Facilitating collaboration between businesses, educational institutions, and government organizations in STEM fields to promote diversity and inclusion. Providing a platform for knowledge sharing, resources, and networking for members. Establishing and operating a data and analytics platform to track the evolution of STEM skills and identify emerging needs, particularly for underrepresented groups. Advocating for policies and practices that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM professions.
