Swissgenetics aims to carry out artificial insemination in cattle, horses and small livestock, in particular the selection, procurement and maintenance of animals for artificial insemination; the production, processing and storage of semen; the trade in semen; the transfer of semen; and upstream and downstream services. The goal of these activities is to improve the economic efficiency of animal production and strengthen domestic breeding in close cooperation with member organizations. Swissgenetics can perform all economic and financial activities that promote its purpose. In particular, it can also buy and sell real estate and properties, participate in other companies, acquire similar and related companies, establish branches and subsidiaries by decision of the board of directors. Swissgenetics pursues its purpose with a business policy oriented towards sustainability.
