It may grant loans to its shareholders or to third parties, act as guarantor for loans subscribed by its shareholders or third parties, guarantee these loans by issuing or pledging mortgage securities or by subscribing to any other financial commitment as well as pledge its assets to guarantee any claim. It may acquire, hold, encumber, alienate, and manage real estate properties with exclusively commercial purposes in Switzerland and abroad.
