The purpose of the association is to promote the development of new technologies and applications, particularly in the areas of new open and decentralized software architectures. The main focus - but not exclusively - is the promotion and development of the so-called Tezos protocol and the corresponding technologies, as well as the promotion and support of applications using the Tezos protocol. The association can engage in any business and conclude contracts that are suitable for promoting its purpose or are related thereto. It can establish branches and representations in the country and abroad, participate in companies, partnerships and other structures, found or establish them as well as acquire, manage and dispose of real estate. It can develop, acquire, hold, dispose of rights in the field of intellectual property or industrial property rights, grant licenses for such rights or grant corresponding licenses. For this purpose, the association can in particular: support and finance suitable research and development activities and projects; contact various companies, partners, banks, authorities or other third parties and engage for the Tezos ecosystem; participate in organizations; organize conferences or other events that support and publicize the Tezos protocol; submit proposals and decide on measures which serve the technical coordination of the further development of the Tezos protocol as well as the related technologies and applications.
