Based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Sustainable Development Goals, the CFGP will work towards a world where children and young people fully realize their potential through the equal realization of their rights, particularly their right to effectively participate in decisions affecting their lives. To achieve this vision, the CFGP's objectives are as follows: Adults and children understand children's rights and the involvement of children in decision-making processes that impact their lives (depending on age and maturity). The voice of children has been institutionalized in decision-making processes through the strengthening of systems and capacities. Enhanced data and evidence on the outcomes of child-sensitive governance increase political commitment and resource allocation at local and global levels. Strengthened collaboration and knowledge sharing at local and global levels increase engagement in child-sensitive governance in policies and practices. Our long-term goal is to strengthen children's and young people's interest in civic engagement and democratic participation. The CFGP is an international non-profit, apolitical, and non-sectarian organization.
