Aims to promote, support, regulate and develop the sport of darts worldwide; to support the Olympic movement, to be affiliated to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as a recognized international sports federation (IF) in accordance with the provisions of the Olympic Charter and to contribute to the achievement of the objectives set out in the Olympic Charter; to establish national darts organizations in as many countries as possible; to develop standardized rules for tournaments; to conduct referee training and qualification programs and to make changes as necessary; to promote and uphold the highest sporting moral standards among darts players, so that the spirit of fair play prevails; to develop methods and competitions to award regional, national and international titles; to introduce and monitor ranking systems for players, so that tournaments can be organized with different player categories; and to introduce and apply anti-doping procedures in accordance with the international anti-doping code.
