The non-profit association has the selfless purpose of international utility to promote dialogue and understanding in the international spirits sector. It intends, by all possible means, including but not limited to seminars, publications, and events, in collaboration with national or international institutions and organizations, to make a constructive contribution to global economic growth and development. Through its activities, the association aims to encourage responsible consumption of spirits and prevent their abuse. The association may perform all acts directly or indirectly related to its purpose. It may collaborate in any similar activity and take an interest in it. To achieve its purpose, the association may, among other things: acquire, hold, manage, mortgage, and sell real estate, as well as acquire, exploit, pledge, and sell patents, licenses, and other intangible assets. With regard to transactions related to the purchase of real estate in Switzerland, these must have an exclusively commercial purpose; accept all donations made during one's lifetime or by will.
