The association aims to provide consulting, analysis, and support services in the areas of information architecture, data architecture, data and information management, semantics, standards, data models, governance, traceability, and related fields, including the conception, evaluation, and enablement of data-driven and artificial intelligence (AI) supported systems. The association supports organizations in designing trustworthy, interoperable, and reusable data and knowledge bases for analysis, automation, and decision support. The association may also conduct training, lectures, workshops, and other knowledge transfer formats, as well as develop and publish corresponding content, methods, and reference models. The association may establish branches and subsidiaries at home and abroad, invest in other companies, and conduct all business that is directly or indirectly related to its purpose. The association may employ staff at home and abroad. The association may acquire, encumber, dispose of, and manage real estate at home and abroad. It may also provide financing on its own or another's account and provide security for the liabilities of affiliated companies.
