The purpose of the foundation is to operate a shelter for dogs in need and to provide financial support to children in need. The shelter ensures the accommodation, care, medical treatment and supervision of the dogs. The distress of the dogs can arise, among other things, due to illness, homelessness, age, behavior or undesirability. Furthermore, children in need who are under 16 years old and resident in Switzerland are to receive financial support. The distress of the children can arise, among other things, due to illness, disability, poverty, origin or family constellation. The allocated amount of money serves to alleviate the distress of the children, either by eliminating it or contributing to its elimination, or by providing joy and thus distraction.
