The association's purpose is to: a) contribute to the moral, intellectual and cultural development of the Armenian nation, its people and its Church; b) develop means to perpetuate the identity of the Armenian diaspora, including in Switzerland; c) promote the cultural, educational and humanitarian development of Armenia; d) contribute, in particular circumstances, to all other universal philanthropic and humanitarian works not limited to Armenians. The association has no commercial vocation. It is neutral from both a political and ideological point of view. In order to achieve its purpose, the association may acquire, alienate, manage and administer, directly or indirectly, as well as hold, in trust, real estate located in Switzerland. The association may, within the limits of applicable law, carry out its activities by general or special delegation from the AGBU Association of American law, provided that such activities fall within the scope of the association's purpose. The association may, within the limits of applicable law, deploy its activities through branches or local representations in Switzerland or abroad.
