Union Internationale du Gaz

The UIG is a global organization that aims to promote the political, technical and economic progress of the gas industry towards a sustainable global energy system. The term gas refers to natural gas, low-carbon gases, decarbonized gases and renewable gases (including biomethane, hydrogen, synthetic gas and e-methane). The UIG is a working structure that studies and encourages developments in all areas of the gas industry. The UIG organizes periodic flagship events and other international conferences and events, cooperates with other international energy organizations, encourages the exchange of information and promotes best practices among its members.
