The foundation aims to maintain the Tobur Holding AG and the original Toggenburger company parts from 1816, which are now part of the Tiag AG, as independent companies on a solid basis, while preserving their original purpose, by exercising the voting rights of its participations in such a way that the prosperity of the companies is ensured in the best possible and long-term manner. The foundation may also operate a publishing house based on economic principles. The foundation can hold, acquire and sell company participations. If economic conditions permit, the foundation shall support and promote medical research and the related natural sciences auxiliary disciplines in Europe.
