The foundation aims to provide, in addition to the services provided by the founder's personnel welfare foundation (St. Clara Foundation), voluntary benefits (monetary or in-kind contributions) to the employees of the founder and companies economically or financially closely related to it, as well as their dependents, particularly as supplementary support to the services of the St. Clara Foundation and in cases of unforseen hardship that cannot be alleviated by the St. Clara Foundation. The foundation also aims to finance and provide contributions to tax-exempt employee benefit institutions that the founder has joined or established. The foundation board may, with the consent of the founder, define the type and scope of individual benefits within the framework of the foundation's purpose in special regulations. The foundation board may amend such regulations with the consent of the founder at any time within the framework of the foundation's purpose and the legal provisions, while preserving any existing claims and entitlements of the beneficiaries. The affiliation of a related company is based on a written affiliation agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. The rights of the existing beneficiaries must be guaranteed.
