The purpose of the VERD Purpose Cooperative (hereinafter referred to as the "Purpose") is to develop, through mutual self-help, resources for self-determination, local and regional, analogue, digital and hybrid activities, and to make them available to the members of the cooperative, in particular through the development of a payment system. The cooperative supports social interaction, community assistance and the return of value creation to its place of origin through the income generated by the payment system. The cooperative may purchase, sell, lease or rent goods and services to the extent necessary to fulfill the Purpose. The cooperative may engage in all commercial, financial and other activities that are related to or suitable for promoting the Purpose of the cooperative. It may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and participate in other companies in Switzerland. The Purpose of VERD Purpose Cooperative is binding for all (direct and indirect) participations of the cooperative, but not for minority participations, suppliers and other organizations and individuals associated with VERD Purpose Cooperative.
