Verein Computers for Africa

The purpose of the association is to plan and implement technically oriented projects in Africa together with local partners in Africa and, if necessary, with Swiss or foreign partners (institutions/organizations/individuals). In doing so, the association also utilizes the administrative, economic, and technical expertise available to its members. The individual projects aim to achieve sustainable improvements in the fields of information and communication technology and education in these areas. The association promotes clearly defined, manageable projects to provide concrete and targeted technical development assistance, to facilitate and activate self-help, and to raise awareness and promote the willingness of the Swiss population to support technical development assistance in Africa. The association does not aim to generate profits.
