The membership consists of all individuals who serve or have served with the Boinas Verdes de Portugal and reside in Switzerland and neighboring countries. The promotion of moral and cultural ideals that concern Portugal and Switzerland, in order to achieve a good relationship between Portuguese and Swiss people and individuals of other nationalities. To strive to preserve the good name of Portugal and the Portuguese, and to get to know Switzerland better. To assist members who are in difficulties of any kind. To support members residing in Switzerland with the greatest possible intention of helping and advising them, as well as providing assistance with housing or job searches if needed. To promote conviviality among members, such as organizing festivals, social gatherings, meetings, and other educational and cultural events. To do everything that is not mentioned in the preceding paragraphs but contributes to improving the moral and material capacities of members, as well as the good name of Portugal in Switzerland and the good relations between the two countries and the resulting two nationalities.
