The association is committed to young people with eating disorders. It develops and operates services, particularly inpatient facilities for young people with eating disorders. In addition, the association provides consulting and care services for those affected and their relatives, as well as prevention and public relations work on the topic of eating disorders. The association can also take on other charitable tasks and acquire properties that serve the association's purpose. The association is exclusively charitable, does not pursue economic purposes, and is politically independent and denominationally neutral.
