The association coordinates and integrates healthcare for the population at the Maison de Santé et Prévention and beyond. It connects organizations, service providers, authorities, and medical care into an agile healthcare network for the Biel/Bienne region. In line with the fundamental idea of integrated care and coordinated, systemic consulting, the resources available in the regional healthcare network, as well as in the personal network of those affected, should be bundled and leveraged: Systemic resources; Personnel resources; Financial resources; Organizational resources. The performance targets of the association include, but are not limited to: constructive collaboration with the most important service providers from medical care, outpatient nursing, and/or psychosocial counseling; optimal value creation from valuable professional and economic resources; a contact and counseling point (BeratungsCafé) of a low-threshold accessible and visible contact point (hub) for healthcare in Biel and the region; a focal point for targeted access to support, counseling, and needs-based healthcare services.
