Verein Room to Read - Schweiz

The association aims to raise funds through fundraising events, which are intended to support the non-profit organization Room to Read in its endeavor to improve the lives of children in developing countries through literacy and gender equality in education and training. The Room to Read units work together with local communities, partner organizations, and governments to sustainably improve the reading skills and reading habits of primary school students, as well as to develop and provide infrastructure and good teaching materials that will further promote these goals. The Room to Read units also support girls in completing secondary school with the necessary life skills for a successful life during and after school. The association does not pursue commercial or self-help purposes and is not profit-oriented. The association is politically and religiously neutral.
