The association establishes and operates a quarantine facility in Switzerland, enabling animals that do not meet the import requirements of the Ordinance on the Import, Transit and Export of Pets (EDAV-Ht) and those suspected of rabies infection under the Animal Diseases Ordinance (Art. 6, letter q TSV) to undergo a needs-based quarantine. Animal welfare, adequate socialization, learning, and education are the primary focus. The association works closely with cantonal and Swiss authorities. The association ensures optimal medical care by specialists and operates according to a concept. The association does not pursue commercial purposes and does not aim to make a profit. The organs are active on a voluntary basis. The association is registered with the canton as a non-taxable organization, and therefore, voluntary donations are tax-exempt.
