VIRSA does not engage in any lucrative activity. Its purposes are as follows: To promote and develop virtual sports (e-sports), in particular through a metaverse dedicated to sports, a community platform and a dedicated cryptocurrency, so that supporters, federations, sports clubs and players can interact, communicate and support each other without borders; To ensure solidarity within professional sports by giving participants the opportunity to develop their own non-fungible tokens and/or augmented and/or virtual reality projects using distributed ledger technology; To ensure the organization, governance, maintenance and operation of a blockchain based on nodes operated by members of the Association; To ensure the authenticity of digital products marketed through the metaverse, as well as to ensure the protection, management and respect of the rights of federations, clubs, professional players and all participants in this metaverse; To supervise the organization and define the rules of international virtual sports competitions, such as the Virtual Football World Cup; To adopt and ensure compliance with the rules of organization, operation, control and financing of virtual sports, in particular through the metaverse; To hold, protect and promote the trademarks, websites, domain names and digital currencies chosen by the Executive Committee for the purposes mentioned above; To facilitate contacts between members and all stakeholders in virtual sports. The Association may undertake any lawful activity to achieve its purpose.
