Wackernagel'sche Familienstiftung in Basel

The interest on the capital fund is to be used a) for the costs of the family archive and b) to support descendants of Professor Wilhelm Wackernagel (born 1806) who either bear the name Wackernagel or are descended from bearers of the name Wackernagel in the first or second degree. Preference is to be given to those who reside in Basel themselves or whose parents do. The aforementioned support may only be used for education in a respectable profession, whether through attendance at local or foreign higher educational institutions, or through stays abroad and travel. A virtuous way of life is an absolute prerequisite for the granting of support.
