The core activity of the Walder Foundation is to promote projects and initiatives that focus on life and living in old age. The foundation supports projects in three main areas: 1. Building and Living: Promotion of projects aimed at improving the living and housing quality of older people. 2. Applied Research: Support for research projects that deal with the needs and challenges of older people. 3. Social: Promotion of projects aimed at promoting the social integration and participation of older people. The Walder Foundation acts as a funding foundation and financially supports projects to improve the quality of life of older people in Switzerland.
