The purpose of the foundation is to provide contributions to ecclesiastical, cultural, charitable, sporting and welfare institutions in the municipality of Rümlang; to promote local village culture in Rümlang; to community nursing care and mother-child advice in Rümlang; and to facilities for the elderly residents of Rümlang, such as retirement homes, etc. In cooperation with suitable institutions, direct assistance can also be provided to needy individuals, provided they have been resident in Rümlang for at least 3 years. No benefits shall be provided for purposes that would otherwise have to be assumed by the state social system or the municipality. In the event of special events such as natural disasters, etc., financial support can also be provided to institutions or individuals outside the municipality of Rümlang but within Switzerland. The foundation pursues public or charitable purposes primarily in the interest of the general public of the municipality of Rümlang. It does not pursue commercial or self-help purposes and does not provide any services to the founder's relatives. Otherwise, the foundation board decides independently and finally, in accordance with the provisions of this statute, on the allocation of grants and may issue corresponding implementing provisions in the regulations. The beneficiaries have no enforceable claims against the foundation.
