Operation and maintenance of the Escholzmatt village water supply system through joint self-help and for the benefit of its members and water consumers; supply of properties connected to the system with drinking, utility and firefighting water within the available quantity; ensuring a constant quality in accordance with food legislation; construction and maintenance of pipelines with associated facilities for water procurement, possible treatment, pumping and storage; operation of the hydrant fire protection system for its supply area in accordance with the cantonal law on fire protection and the guidelines of the cantonal building insurance.
