The foundation aims to launch, support and promote projects, organizations, institutions and enterprises in the sense of veganism in Switzerland and abroad, whose main concern is to end animal suffering and exploitation of our fellow creatures and to inspire people to a non-violent and responsible diet and lifestyle for the benefit of animals, humans and the environment. The fulfillment of the foundation's purpose is achieved through direct payments to projects, organizations, institutions and enterprises that pursue and promote the following criteria: a) Exposing and highlighting the cruel reality in the animal husbandry and mass animal husbandry industry b) Raising awareness about the background of products of suffering in the food, fashion and entertainment industries c) Raising awareness of the connections between mass animal husbandry and the environment, world hunger and health d) Commitment to animal welfare law, particularly in the areas of animal husbandry e) Educational programs to promote animal welfare (the right to life, the right to freedom, the right to physical integrity) f) Strengthening compassion for animals, rather than exploiting, mistreating and exploiting them g) Developing animal-free alternatives of all kinds h) Abolition of animal testing and promotion of animal-free testing and research methods i) Plant-based nutrition as an alternative to meat consumption j) Services and assistance of all kinds in the sense of veganism k) Aid projects and birth control for foreign animals in need l) Animal rescue m) Promotion of environmental protection concerns, particularly for reforestation and species conservation. The foundation does not award contributions to zoological gardens, the WWF, Greenpeace and organizations and projects that only strive for species-appropriate and healthy animal husbandry. Awards are made in particular to projects and institutions that are tax-exempt or are considered non-profit in the sense of Swiss tax law. Recipients of contributions do not have any enforceable claims against the foundation. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes.
