The foundation aims to provide occupational pension provision within the framework of the BVG and its implementing provisions for employees and their dependents and beneficiaries against the economic consequences of old age, death and disability of those companies that are consolidated in Vitra Holding AG or Vitrashop Holding AG and have joined the foundation. By decision of the foundation board, companies that are financially or economically closely linked to these companies can also be affiliated with the foundation. The foundation can provide additional pension benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support in cases of need such as illness, accident, disability or unemployment.
