The foundation aims to provide occupational pension provision within the framework of the BVG and its implementing provisions for the beneficiaries designated below, with economically or financially closely related companies, against the economic consequences of old age, death and disability. The beneficiaries are the employees of the company, their relatives and their survivors, as well as persons for whom the employee has provided significant support at the time of his death or in the last years before his death. The affiliation of a related company is based on a written affiliation agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. The foundation can provide additional pension benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support benefits in cases of need such as illness, accident or unemployment. The foundation board issues a regulation on the benefits, organization, administration, asset management and financing, as well as on the control of the foundation. It establishes the relationship with the employers, the insured persons and the beneficiaries in the regulation. The regulation can be amended by the foundation board while preserving the acquired rights of the beneficiaries. The regulation and its amendments must be submitted to the supervisory authority. To achieve its purpose, the foundation can conclude insurance contracts or enter into existing contracts, whereby it must be the policyholder and beneficiary itself.
