Winkelriedstiftung Oberwallis

Manages a fund to provide financial support to individuals residing in the Upper Valais region who have fallen ill or been injured while serving in national defense or civil protection and have subsequently fallen into financial difficulties, or who have temporarily or permanently encountered hardship due to their services for national defense or civil protection; provides care and advice to the aforementioned individuals in collaboration with other public or private institutions as needed; establishes a special fund for extraordinary cases and uses it in accordance with a special set of regulations. The aforementioned assistance may also be granted to the deceased's next of kin in the event of their death.
