The foundation provides discretionary support in cases of accident, disability and unemployment, in addition to situations where the regulatory benefits of occupational pension provision are insufficient. It can also serve the same purpose for employees and dependents of companies that are economically or financially closely linked to the founding company and also make contributions to the pension institution that provides tax-exempt occupational pension provision for the founding company on a regulatory basis.
