The purpose of the foundation is to provide voluntary coverage for the designated beneficiaries against the economic consequences of old age, disability, death, illness, accident or unemployment, or other unforeseen circumstances. The beneficiaries are employees, retirees and their surviving dependents of Meyerhans + Cie AG and the companies affiliated with the foundation, as well as the dependents of individuals for whom the employee has provided significant support during their lifetime. The employer may also be included in the regulatory provision for cases of old age, death and disability, provided that they are not treated more favorably than the employees. By decision of the foundation board, in agreement with the founding company, the personnel of companies economically and/or financially closely linked to the company may also be affiliated, provided that these companies make the necessary funds available to the foundation. The affiliation is based on a written affiliation agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. The foundation may also provide contributions, benefits or insurance premiums to other tax-exempt pension institutions that exist for the benefit of the beneficiaries.
