The cooperative aims to provide its members with healthy and affordable housing through joint self-help and co-responsibility. It primarily rents its apartments to employees and pensioners of the federal administration, Swisscom, Post, SBB, and RUAG, as well as organizations affiliated with the PUBLICA pension fund. To achieve this goal, the cooperative: a) Acquires building land and building rights. b) Builds and purchases single-family and multi-family homes. c) Utilizes funding instruments under the federal housing promotion law and corresponding cantonal and communal laws. d) Manages and rents apartments based on cost rent. e) Promotes cooperative activities in the settlements. f) Provides ideological and material support for efforts aimed at affordable, healthy, and good housing. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not driven by profit. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with similar or identical goals. It is a member of the Swiss Association for Housing SVW.
