The cooperative's activities are not profit-driven. In the rural part of the Zurich wine country, the cooperative builds and rents out affordable and barrier-free apartments as well as community spaces for older and elderly people to its members. The cooperative can acquire or sell plots of land or real estate companies, build, acquire, manage or rent houses, and acquire and encumber building rights. The cooperative can offer rooms for social, care or commercial services in its buildings.
