The cooperative aims to meet the housing and spatial needs of its members in a spirit of mutual self-help and on a non-profit basis, utilizing the corresponding municipal, cantonal and federal assistance. In doing so, it strives for a community-promoting and environmentally friendly way of life. It promotes social and age-related mixing within its settlements through corresponding building structures. To this end, it can acquire properties and building rights, carry out new constructions and renovations, and participate in such projects. The cooperative sells or rents its properties to its members or, exceptionally, to third parties at the most favorable conditions, usually without interior finishing. The cooperative manages its own properties and can take on management mandates from third parties. It also offers its members additional services.
