The cooperative aims to ensure the operation and maintenance of the common land and facilities in the "Sonnenberg" development in Wald, Zurich, through the joint self-help and co-responsibility of its members. The cooperative strives to preserve the character of the Sonnenberg settlement as a development with a high proportion of common areas and facilities, intergenerational living, and an ecological and sustainable form of housing. It promotes the affordable construction of self-occupied residential property for its members, excluding any speculative intent. The cooperative can encumber, acquire, and sell developed and undeveloped plots of land to members. The proceeds from any land sales are primarily to be used for the maintenance, operation, or replacement of common facilities. Members have no claim to the payment of sales proceeds. The cooperative can participate in institutions with similar and identical objectives.
