The cooperative aims to provide its members and the public with healthy and affordable housing, excluding any speculative intent, and to maintain it in a spirit of shared responsibility. The cooperative's activity is not profit-driven. The cooperative builds or purchases affordable and barrier-free apartments, as well as common areas, in St. Gallen or neighboring cantons, and rents them to its members. The cooperative can acquire or sell plots of land or real estate companies, build, acquire, manage or rent houses, and acquire and encumber building rights. The cooperative can offer rooms for social, care or commercial services in its buildings.
