The cooperative aims to provide its members with good and affordable housing through mutual self-help and co-responsibility, and to permanently remove it from speculation. The cooperative's activity is non-profit and not profit-oriented. The cooperative maintains its buildings in good structural condition. It can also acquire land, properties and building rights. With ongoing, sustainable, cost- and quality-conscious maintenance, the cooperative adapts its buildings to the state of the art and to the modern cooperative housing needs, thereby ensuring the preservation of the value of the buildings. This also includes the regular review of measures to increase the residential value of the property and its surroundings. The rent must ensure long-term preservation of value and modern management and cooperative management (cost rent). The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with the same or similar objectives. It is a member of the umbrella organization of housing cooperatives.
