The foundation serves to commemorate Anna-Maria Wili-Kunz, 1863-1940, who, after the death of her husband Ferdinand in 1902, raised five sons in an exemplary manner as a widow and promoted family cohesion within the Wili and Kunz families. In particular, the foundation pursues the purpose of providing the beneficiaries named in the foundation statutes with the following services: care and support in cases of illness, disability, and other emergencies; enabling and facilitating studies and training courses in Switzerland and abroad; assumption of education costs not covered by the public; provision of financial assistance upon marriage; assumption of medical, pharmaceutical, hospital, and care costs that the beneficiaries are unable to cover; provision of spa and recreational stays; creation and maintenance of suitable housing for the beneficiaries, which can be made available to them, depending on their economic hardship, free of charge or at a reduced rent; financing of family reunions and genealogical research; provision of contributions to scientific, cultural, or political works; creation and financing of the family register.
