The purpose of the cooperative is the comprehensive protection and promotion of the economic, professional and social interests of its members as independent milk buyers. It seeks to achieve this purpose in particular through: a) Representing the interests of its members vis-à-vis authorities and other interest groups; b) Promoting the decentralized industrial milk processing structure as well as the production, processing and sale of high-quality natural milk and cheese specialties; c) Promoting vocational training in order to maintain an independent milk buyer profession; d) Cooperating with other industry organizations.
