The cooperative aims to develop and manage a reuse circuit for glass containers and packaging, particularly in the canton of Vaud. It offers an alternative to single-use practices. The cooperative enables the grouping of actors committed to packaging reuse to mutualize and optimize costs, transportation, and practices. The objective is to have a profitable and sustainable organization, providing cooperative members and partners with comprehensive support and services that facilitate the reuse of glass containers. Through its actions, the cooperative seeks to: a) Collect used containers and packaging, wash, recondition, and resell them to manufacturers; b) Develop a network among all actors involved in reuse in the Vaud territory; c) Strive to standardize containers and packaging to achieve harmonization and interoperability of systems at the Vaud or national level; d) Share expertise and knowledge; e) Raise awareness and promote the reuse of containers and packaging among actors and consumers through harmonized communication; f) Communicate by highlighting cooperative members; g) Represent and defend the interests of cooperative members before institutions at the communal, cantonal, and federal levels. In pursuing its objectives, the cooperative promotes sustainable development, a circular economy, and waste reduction, aiming to have a positive social and environmental impact within its commercial and operational activities. The company's activity is characterized by joint action in favor of its members. The Cooperative has no profit-making purpose. Any surplus must be used in accordance with these objectives, subject to Article 15 below. The cooperative may join or cooperate with other organizations.
