Promotion of education and technology transfer. The foundation aims to provide training and further education for professionals in the MEM industry in a practical-professional, technical-theoretical and management-oriented manner. The current training concepts in the MEM industry, namely the combination of practice and theory, are to be maintained. To this end, employees and SMEs who are willing to make an additional effort to improve the current situation, develop improved training concepts and bring themselves and/or their employees to a higher professional level than before are primarily supported. The foundation can promote the profession, conduct or co-finance training courses, and announce competitions. The foundation promotes technology transfer between companies. The purpose of the foundation is exclusively non-profit within the meaning of Article 56 of the Federal Act on Direct Federal Taxation and Article 66, paragraph 1, letter f of the Tax Act of the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. The foundation does not pursue any commercial purpose.
